A hilt sitting in a plastic cradle looks like what it cost. Take the stand away, and the same object reads as something worth displaying.
Magnetic suspension
A field inside the base holds the hilt in open air, the same principle used in levitating speakers. It runs cool and draws very little power.
Nothing underneath
No bracket, no arm, no clear acrylic rod doing the work off-camera. The gap is the entire product.
